From Montreal to Seoul: A Journey of Faith, Friendship & Adventure

An international WYD is celebrated every 3-4 years. It is a time for young adults from around the world to come together, to attend catechesis sessions and festivals together and to share moments of friendship, faith and prayer. The next international WYD is in Seoul, South Korea in August 2027!
Why are we going?As a group of young Catholics, we hope to embark on a pilgrimage to South Korea, to join hundreds of thousands of other young adults to participate in World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul. This pilgrimage is an opportunity to step away from our everyday lives, deepen our faith, and encounter the rich history of Catholicism in a part of the world very different from our own. Together, we hope to visit sacred places, attend catechesis, pray with other youth and our Holy Father, learn from the inspiring Korean saints and martyrs who came before us, and return home strengthened in faith, friendship, and our call to serve others and be close to the Lord.
Why are we fundraising?The funds collected through this page and our fundraising events this year will go towards subsidizing the cost of the pilgrimage to South Korea, the Days in the Diocese and the week of World Youth Day in Seoul the summer of 2027. Your generosity will help young adults attend and experience the transforming power of God's love.
